BeBop Labs is collecting your ticks to help our community see the risk of getting bitten by an infected tick in our backyards and favorite outdoor places. Your work gathering ticks gives BeBop Labs information about when and where the ticks were found. They then test each tick for prospective pathogens they carry and the results are posted back at our local parks and at-risk areas.
BeBop Labs hopes to provide scientific data about our risk of getting bitten by an infected tick locally, decrease fear of ticks, increase prevention of disease, and increase the detection of early onset Lyme disease because we all are looking for ticks.
