The NH Drug Monitoring Initiative has released a Situational Awareness Alert regarding the drug Carfentanil. Carfentanil is a synthetic opioid approximately 10,000 times more potent than morphine and 100 times more potent than fentanyl. It has been found in NH and has been confirmed to be linked to 3 deaths in NH this year. Please see below for more information on this extremely potent and deadly drug.
